Starting from April 2004, a new taxation policy is to be introduced which will affect both room rates and restaurant prices. Previously, both departmental rates indicated did not include tax.
The new tax will be implemeted in all Hotels along with the Tokyu Hotels website starting from April 2004. To avoid any confusion with the changing of hotel rates and restaurant prices, we would like to communicate this information to you beforehand and apologize for any inconvience caused.

The Hot Spring tax and Accommodation tax which are utilized by the Tokyu Hotels will not be affected by this new taxation policy.

Consumption tax in the hotel will appear differently due to the rounding off calculation system used by the hotel.

Reservations made before March 2004 may indicate rates which do not include the tax.

This new taxation policy was initially construte one year ago by the Japanese Government and is to be implemted from the 1st of April 2004.
