History

Jul. 20, 1963

Tokyo Hilton Hotel opened as the first global chain hotel in Japan at the location.

Jan. 1, 1984

Tokyu Hotel Chain Co., Ltd. took over the hotel operation and renamed the hotel to Capitol Tokyu Hotel.

Nov. 30, 2006

Capitol Tokyu Hotel ceased it’s operation due to the area development project of Nagata-cho 2-chome.

Oct. 22, 2010

Newly opened "The Capitol Hotel Tokyu".

The Tokyu Capitol Tower where The Capitol Hotel Tokyu is situated is a modern skyscraper complex consisting of a hotel and office spaces, constructed in August 2010.
