Greeting

Akihito Kobayashi
President
Tokyu Hotels Co., Ltd.

Tokyu Hotels has been incredibly fortunate to have the continued support and patronage of our hotel guests, our business partners and the local community.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude, and our heart goes out to everyone who has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Recently, many of our hotels have been affected due to temporary closures or shortened business hours and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Our top priority has always been the health and safety of our customers and employees, so in order to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19,
we will continue to act in compliance with the policies and ordinances set forth by the Japanese government.

Our staff looks forward to welcoming our guests back after these challenging times come to pass.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Ginza Tokyu Hotel, which first opened in 1960, and was established under the concept of forming a larger hotel chain to promote the tourism industry. Tokyu Hotels has since grown to become one of the country’s largest hotel chains with 45 properties and 12,000 rooms throughout Japan.

We currently manage three distinct brands that allow us to offer a variety of hotel concepts to guests in Japan and abroad: Tokyu Hotel, Excel Hotel Tokyu, and Tokyu REI Hotel.

The Tokyu Hotel brand represents our luxury collection, which aims to exceed expectations through a graceful, exceptional ambience.

The Excel Hotel Tokyu brand is meant to be a doorway to excitement by being located at the center of major cities.

The Tokyu REI Hotel brand provides mid-range accommodations that focus on the little things that elevate overall relaxation.

While each provides a unique experience, all our properties provide our signature “Tokyu Comfort.”

In addition, we will be offering two new options this year: Yokohama Tokyu REI Hotel, a lifestyle hotel geared towards the millennial generation, and Fujisan Mishima Tokyu Hotel, which acts as a launchpad for cultural exploration across the Mt. Fuji, Hakone and Izu areas. By the summer, guests will have 47 unique hotels in Japan’s most charming regions to choose from. From there, we will continue innovating to develop new experiences while maintaining the history and DNA that guests have come to love for the last 60 years.

Like our slogan “Good Team, Good Hotel, Good Company,” Tokyu Hotels aims to create a rewarding workplace environment for our employees and to provide the type of hospitality that goes above and beyond for our guests.
