Tokyu Hotels Co., Ltd.

Thank you for your ongoing support and patronage of Tokyu Hotels.

With Tokyu Corporation as our core enterprise, Tokyu Group moved into the hotel industry to establish Tokyu Hotels Co., Ltd. Behind that decision was anticipation of future growth of tourism from increased leisure time, disposable income, and consumer diversification. Also foreseen was the growing importance of international tourism and more tourists from overseas. This thinking led to the birth, in 1960, of Ginza Tokyu Hotel, an international-class hotel.

Since then, Tokyu Hotels Co., Ltd., has expanded its network across Japan and grown to be a leading international hotel chain comprising 44 hotels and more than 12,000 guestrooms in Japan, from Sapporo in the north to Miyako Island, Okinawa in the south, and hotels in Singapore and Taiwan.

In Japan, Tokyu Hotels operates three brands: Tokyu Hotel, a luxury hotel; Excel Hotel Tokyu, a city hotel; and mid-range Tokyu REI Hotel. Under the “Tokyu Comfort” belief of placing the highest value on guest comfort, each brand concept offers a unique choice of hotel life to guests from Japan and overseas. For Tokyu Hotel, this means reliable and gracious service providing dignified yet warm hospitality. Excel Hotel Tokyu opens the door to thrilling and original experiences. For Tokyu REI Hotel, it means attending carefully to everyday relaxation and discovery.

As for the future, expanding mainly our city network, plans are set for the 2019 opening of Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu, in Midosuji. Scheduled openings in 2020 include Fujisan Mishima Tokyu Hotel, in Shizuoka Prefecture, and a hotel in Yokohama.

Also in 2020, our company marks its 60th anniversary, neatly in time for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. Maintaining past traditions of hospitality and comfort, we move into a future of new and exciting possibilities.

To this end, we’ll continue offering the best possible services to present our Tokyu Hotels as a brand to trust and hold in high regard. In line with the watchwords, “Good Team, Good Hotel, Good Company,” we shall be a hotel where guests prefer to stay, and employees find a rewarding workplace.

Wishing you and yours a pleasant and memorable stay at Tokyu Hotels, we look forward to your patronage today and tomorrow, while I remain respectfully yours with utmost gratitude.
