The concept for Teppanyaki -SAKURA- is a teppanyaki restaurant where the ingredients are respected and served to highlight their goodness just as nature intended. Sakura is a flower that symbolizes Japan and the beauty of the Sakura fascinates not only Japanese but people all around the world. We wanted to bring out this beauty and strength in the name of the restaurant.

Produced by Nobuhiko Fukuda, the executive chef of this Teppan-yaki restaurant, has focused on brining out the wonderful flavor of the seasonal ingredients to their fullest. With the seasonal ingredients, grilling craftsman, and service staff, we would like to bring out the enchantment of Japanese food culture which has been recognized worldwide.

 
Menu Concept

Under the supervision of Nobuhiko Fukuda, we place emphasis on the most important factor for Teppan-yaki, “to bring out the most of the ingredients. Fukuda was selected as a "Modern Master Craftsman" in 2019 for his outstanding skill in firing. We only use ingredients that come from carefully selected producers. Please enjoy this Teppan-yaki that only a hotel can offer, using just the finest ingredients, all down to the condiments.

 
Executive Chef Nobuhiko Fukuda

Appointed as Executive Chef in 2001 when the hotel has started its operation. Ever since, he has been the Executive Producer in the hotel restaurant division. He has been boldly challenging new concepts through cooking and the dishes he creates are from his aggressive and passionate rich sensibilities. His warm personality wins the heart of our customers, and
He boldly takes on new challenges through cooking, and the dishes he creates from his rich sensibilities are said to be aggressive and passionate; also his warm personality wins him to achieve strong support from customers.

2017 Appointed the 7th president of the Japan Escoffier Association.

2018 In recognition of his contribution to the spread of French food culture, he was awarded the "Order of Merit in Agriculture - Officier" by the government of the French Republic.

2019 Appointed as executive chef of Tokyu Hotels Co., Ltd.
In the same year, he was awarded the ``Contemporary Master Craftsman Award'' by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare for outstanding technicians.

2021 Appointed the 6th president of the French Agricultural Merit Association (MOMAJ).
In the same year, he was awarded the Outstanding Chief Technical Advisor (No. 0048) by the All Japan Chefs Association.

2022 Appointed as Senior Managing Executive Officer of Tokyu Hotels Co., Ltd.

For example, we have an “Anniversary Lunch” and “Anniversary Dinner” for birthdays, special days. We have also other courses for reunions of old colleagues, or just for your own treat, or just when you want to spend an elegant time please choose from the hearty courses filled with seasonal ingredients.
